Jill Ann Harper

 I'm a professional artist and author based in Rochester in Kent.  I have a lovely bright studio where I love to paint and write in the peace and quiet.  I pour my heart and soul into my creativity, whether it's a new painting or my latest novel, and I love to connect and share with others. 

 I work in oils and my paintings are produced using only the highest quality pigments on canvas.  All paintings receive a coat of professional varnish for protection from UV light and other environmental factors.  Paintings on canvas board are provided in a complimentary handmade wooden frame. 

  The subject matter of my work is diverse as I find endless inspiration in nature, people, animals and architecture.  I like to work in a representational style, with clean, crisp lines to give a contemporary feel.  My overall aim is to produce vibrant and positive paintings with meaningful compositions.
